Student services prescriptions

Taking Regular Medication? Asthma Inhalers? The Contraceptive Pill? Insulin?

If you are coming to uni for the first time, re-registering or have been prescribed new medication while on a break from uni, you will need to tell Penryn Surgery so we can keep prescribing it for you.

Once you have received confirmation that you have been registered you will be sent a link to send us a photo of your repeat prescription counterfoil or a photo of your new medication package. We will need to see the name, strength and dose. Our clinical pharmacist will set this up as a repeat prescription so you can order on-line when you need it next.

Please make sure you bring a month’s supply with you so you don’t run out

If you don’t tell the clinical pharmacist which medication you take in advance, you won’t be able to re-order on the NHS App when you get low.

You can nominate a local pharmacy where you will collect your medication – remember to nominate one BEFORE you place your order. There are 2 pharmacies in Penryn – Hendras at Penryn Surgery and Hendras Market Street which is in the main street.

You can do this online via SystmOnline/Airmid or your NHS account/App.
