We’re Changing Our Online Consultation System

From 21 July 2026, Penryn Surgery will be moving from Klinik to SystmConnect, our new online consultation system.

Why Are We Making This Change?

SystmConnect has been developed by TPP, the same company that provides the patient records system used by the practice.

While Klinik has served our patients well for several years, we believe SystmConnect offers a simpler, more user-friendly experience. The new system integrates directly with our existing patient records and will help us continue to manage appointment demand effectively while reducing telephone congestion.

We hope patients will find the new forms easier to navigate and complete, making it quicker and simpler to access the help they need.

How to Access SystmConnect

Accessing SystmConnect will be just as easy as using our current Klinik system.

You can find it on our website via:

  • The Appointments section
  • The SystmConnect banner on our homepage

Website: www.penrynsurgery.nhs.net

What Can I Use SystmConnect For?

You will be able to:

  • Report a new medical condition
  • Request help for an existing condition
  • Register as a new patient
  • Request a fit note
  • Request a doctor’s letter

Additional options may be added in the future as we continue to develop the service.

Need Help?

If you do not have access to the internet, or would like assistance using the new system, our reception team will be happy to help.

As with Klinik, we can support patients who are unable to complete online forms themselves and do not have a friend, relative, or carer available to assist them.

What Happens After I Submit My Form?

Once you have completed and submitted a SystmConnect form, it will be reviewed by one of our clinical triage team at Penryn Surgery.

The clinician will assess the information provided and decide on the most appropriate next steps and timescale for your care.

To help us process your request as efficiently as possible, please provide as much information as you can about your symptoms or the reason for contacting us. This helps our clinicians gain a clearer understanding of your needs and ensures you are directed to the most appropriate service first time.
